I have always had interest in the Data analysis course and did not know how to start until I had a good conversation with Tobe. She was very good at answering my questions and resolving my concerns. I must say it was the confidence at which she could stand behind her work that made me sign up for her class.
Before the class started, I wasn't sure, however, after the first lecture we had, I knew I had to complete all the classes. My knowledge about data analysis went from 0 to a very high number. The skills of her teaching, the breakdown, amazing. I went from just inserting numbers in a spreadsheet to solving business problems in 9 weeks.
Could I have done that through self learning, no and research have shown that instructor led classes improve success rate by 30% however I would say Instructor led class by Tobe will improve success rate by 60%.
For each software we were taught, from the simple to the complex details. Tobe wasn't training us to be beginners, she prepared us to be intermediate data analyst by pouring out all her work experience, projects, lessons and success stories.

Tobe was exceptional with the class in general. She took out time to explain the course in an in-depth manner. I found the one on one meetings very helpful as well as I was able to ask questions to get clarity on the assignments given before the due date. I’m not part of the data analytics team but data analysis skill has been one of the skills have used to get ahead/ win on my team by identifying data points, analyzing and building dashboard. Thanks a lot for your guidance through this bootcamp. It has been an amazing experience. What we've learned in the short timeline is way more than four-Semester terms of Grad School. I feel the training was very informative. Lots of useful varying materials were shared and used. The build up of the course itself I feel was well planned in that it was progressive. From basic level gradually up to advance which is very important for attendants with varying level of experience in order maintain their interest.
Everyone was carried along and all questions were answered with a lot of depth. Relating the training each time to real life scenarios made the training so much easy to relate to and understand. Weekly assignment was a very way to practice what was taught in each class (even though i still have outstanding assignment). This is by far the best virtual program I have ever registered for. From the beginning of the program the instructors Tobe and Ashley did a great job teaching and making someone like me with no data experience to understand how to use different relational data base to extract, transform and load data for data analysis. The ‘Data Analytics Certification Program’ covered an in-depth theoretical & practical knowledge of data collection, data cleaning, data exploration, and data visualization. The program structure facilitated an adequate understanding of using powerful analytics tools to analyze raw data to uncover insights and identify patterns to make informed recommendations. Undertaking this course has enhanced my technical competence to a proficiency level of advanced MS Excel and an upper-intermediate in SQL, Google Analytics, Power BI, and Python.
It is a fast-paced course with lots of hands-on exercises using the analytics tools set. With zero background in analytics, I have been able to advance my MS excel skills using functions like IF statements, V-lookup, and pivot tables for data exploration. Through this course, I have been able to effectively create databases, collect data from data sources, and manipulate data of relational tables using different SQL queries for descriptive data analysis. Furthermore, I acquired knowledge of data modeling by joining different tables using foreign keys and creating dashboards via Power BI to generate insights for data visualization and prescriptive data analysis. In addition, I became equipped with an adequate understanding of building machine learning models using python for predictive data analysis. I learned how to unravel web traffic data via Google Analytics and integration of SQL, Python, and Google Analytics into Power BI to create an automated data analytics system. Despite having a background in Engineering, undertaking this course has enhanced my knowledge in understanding the key performance metrics and dimensions of different career sectors and I can comfortably analyze healthcare, website, finance, HR, and ecommerce/sales dataset.
Tobe is an excellent instructor and a highly experienced educationist who finds ways of passing across information in the simplest possible means. She is resourceful and technically competent in different data analytics tools. She provides a 1-1 consultation to aid students, and her commitment to students’ progress is highly commendable.
